Vox Pops
The term "vox pops" is a shortened version of the latin word "vox populi" which translates to "voice of the people". In the media industry vox pops are spontaneous interviews with random members of the public and are used to show different opinions. Vox pops are often used by news broadcasters as they show a balance between opinions.
